Removed all RTUs throughout the operating facility by utilizing temporary AC units. RTUs were removed by crane and replaced with new units. Special measures were taken to protect the facility and critical rooms after units were removed. Additional framing and structural steel was needed to support the new units. The electrical and fire systems were also upgraded as part of the project. This was all done in and over a live switch room with zero incidents or down time.
Removed and replaced all CRAC units in a live operating switch facility. In addition new concrete pads were poured for the new units. The ductwork was redone to facilitate improved cooling throughout the facility. All controls related to the new unit and sequence of operations were reprogrammed to eliminate past issues with the cooling units. The project was completed with zero issues or down time.
