The Switch Room Roof Replacement is a mission critical project where the existing roof of a 10,000 square foot mobile switch center was removed and replaced, over an active live facility. The project includes the phased demolition of the existing roofing system down to the cover board and installation of a new roofing system, installation of a new lightning protection system, installation of new roof pavers, installation of a new roof access hatch, and installation of new copings. The roof was sealed at the end of each shift and the project was completed with no dust or water infiltration to the active switch room below, resulting in zero downtime.
